Aoife graduated with a BA Journalism with Sociology and Politics from the University of Galway
Aoife Gallagher recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Joint Honours) Journalism with Sociology and Politics from the University of Galway.
From Lochán Dubh, Belcruit, Aoife is the daughter of Lorna Gallagher and the granddaughter of Celia and the late Danny Gallagher.
Aoife is now employed as a Multimedia Journalist at Donegal Democrat/DonegalLive, which forms a part of the Iconic Media Group. She was previously with the company during her work placement in 2023/2024.

Beforehand, she attended Scoil an Aingil Choimhéadaí and completed her Leaving Certificate at Rosses Community School in 2020.
