Animals in Need is running a Re-Turn bottle and can collection, with drop-off points across Donegal.

The animal charity is encouraging people to help by collecting all cans and plastic bottles with the Re-Turn logo and dropping them at one of the collection points.

Roughly three bottles or cans will provide one meal for a foster animal in Animals in Need’s care.

Animals in Need say the collection is “a win win for cleaner streets, greener environment and full pet bellies”.
