Sad passing of former Raphoe school principal

The late Pearl Millar

Communities throughout east Donegal have been saddened to learn of the sudden passing in Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday of Pearl Millar, (Margaret Noble), Milltown, St Johnston, a past principal of Raphoe Central National School.

A true lady in every way, Mrs Millar was held in high esteem by her pupils and teaching colleagues in the school as well as amongst the teaching community in and around the locality.

She will be missed by her husband Billy, and was the much-loved mother of Alan, Gerda, and David.

House strictly private, family and close friends only.

Her funeral will leave her late residence on Tuesday afternoon, March 15 at 1.30pm for service at 2pm in St Johnston Presbyterian Church with burial afterward in the family plot.

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland care of any family member.
