Plans for over 50 new houses in Inishowen

Planning permission has been sought for the construction of 54 new houses in Inishowen.

There are plans for 35 new houses in Carndonagh with plans lodged for the constriction of a further 10 houses in Buncrana.

In Carn, Morgan McCandless is seeking to build five detached and 30 semi-detached houses at Malin Road, Churchland Quarters.

The planning documents, submitted to Donegal County Council this week, include provision for the associated site works and connection to all public services.

The local authority says it will make a decision on the application by January 27, 2023.

Hubert and Mark McLaughlin have applied for permission to build 18 semi-detached and on detached house at Ballymacarry, Buncrana.

The proposal states that access would be via existing entrance and access road, which serves the Gort na Mbo estate.

Donegal County Council will convey a decision by January 26, 2023.
