Motorists advised of road closure in Ardara during Easter holidays

The road will be closed for essential maintenance work

Roadworks will lead to the road being closed

A road frequented by visitors in the Ardara area is set to close for roadworks during the Easter holiday.

Donegal County Council wishes to advise that due to the essential road works, the local Road L2843-1 in Bracky, Ardara between N56 and MAGHERA CAVES will be blocked on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11 and 12 from 7.30am to 6pm each day.

A spokesperson said: "A local diversion will be in place during these times.

"Donegal County Council apologises for any inconvenience which this may cause."
