REVEALED: how long it takes the average Irish worker to earn €1 million

It takes the average Irish worker almost 32 years to earn €1 million, according to a recent study.

Irish workers need 31 years and 8 months to earn €1M, which ranks Ireland in 15th place worldwide

However, that's 8 months faster than the UK (17th), but 4 years slower than Norway (11th)

Citizens of Switzerland will earn their million the fastest (15 years and 3 months)

Earning €1M will require over 500 years of work in Nigeria, Uganda, Egypt and Pakistan.

Those behind the study say that people who have been professionally active for many of years rarely think about how much money they have earned throughout those years.

That is why in this study, Picodi.com analysts calculated how many years of work are required to make 1 million euros in different countries while earning an average wage.
