THERE HAS been huge celebrations in county Mayo this week as a EuroMillions player has woken up €500,000 better off today after scooping the top prize amount in last night’s EuroMillions Plus draw.
The Mayo player became the biggest EuroMillions winner in Ireland in Tuesday night’s draw after purchasing their ticket on the day of the draw at Casey’s Londis on the Circular Road in Ballina.
Store Manager Valerie Horan was thrilled to hear the good news: “We have a lot of local customers here in Ballina so we really do wish the winner all the luck and health for the future with their big win. It’s great news for the community and of course, it’s exciting for the shop here. We are all over the moon for the winner!”
