A children's toy has been recalled due to a major safety concern which could result in injury or even asphyxiation.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), parents are advised to cease use of an Electric Toy Gun sold on Amazon as it could result in serious injury if the object were to hit someone.
Additionally, the product itself is made such that a sharp object can be placed inside and fired, and the darts and the flexible plastic bag used for packaging pose a potential asphyxiation risk.
The ASIN numbers are B09TXX4F8Z and B09NLKLSSS, the model number is HK416D, and the SKU is XMF-TG-SILVER-UK. The other identifiers are X001J5QB6P, X001J47U0R, FBA15GTTSTHLU000063 and FBA15GZQ1YTTU000097.
The brand and batch number are unknown.
There are approximately 193 affected products in the Republic of Ireland.
If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately and keep out of the reach of children.
