Woman in her 40s arrested following fatal crash in February
Gardaí investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on 11th February 2024 in Glanmire, Co. Cork have arrested a woman as part of their investigations.
The woman, aged in her 40s, is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Cork Garda Station.
Gardaí in Glanmire were appealing for witnesses following the traffic collision shortly after 7:45pm on February 11.
One of the two occupants in the car, a woman in her 50s, was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
She was pronounced deceased at Cork University Hospital on February 13, 2024.
The second occupant, a female in her 40s, also received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
