Finn Valley AC's Aoife McGee, Leah McMonagle, Janine Boyle, Bridget McDyer and Catriona Devine
Bridget McDyer of Finn Valley AC took top spot in the shot put event as her club’s women's team took part in the National League.
McDyer won the shot put at Abbotstown on Sunday.
McDyer reached out to 9.57m, beating the 9.47m of Libby Murphy, the St Senan’s athlete who was her closest challenger.
McDyer’s performance was the highlight of the afternoon for those in blue and white.
Janine Boyle, a gold medal winner at the UUJ Indoor meet on Saturday, took bronze in the 200m, finishing in 25.66 seconds.
Natasha Kelly’s 10:17.40 earned her fourth in the 3,000m.
Catriona Devine used all of her experience for a fourth-place finish in the 800m, the Castlefin woman clocking 2:29.02.
Aoife McGee was sixth in the 60m sprint, crossing the line in 8.40 seconds.
In the 4x400m relay Boyle, McGee, Kelly and Devine finished fourth in 4:51.28.
Leah McMonagle jumped out to 4.54m for tenth in the long jump.
In a guest 400m, Finn Valley AC woman Hannah Murray recorded an impressive new personal best.
Murray’s 56.97 seconds saw her come second in a race won by Le Chéile’s Caoimhe Cronin in 56.88 seconds.
Murray also ran a guest 200m, finishing fifth in 26.41 seconds.
