Castlefin sisters Catriona Devine and Sinead McConnell were among six gold medal winners from Donegal at the 123.ie National Masters Indoor Championships.

The Finn Valley AC duo topped their charts at the TUS International arena in Athlone.

In the W45 1500m, Devine grabbed gold, winning in 5:00.24 from Ann Marie Connellan.

McConnell won well in the W50 3000m walk. McConnell crossed the line in 16:15.50 to stave off the challenge of her Irish Masters colleague Maggie Helen O'Connor.

Rosses AC's Aidan Gillespie won the M50 high jump, clearing the bar at 1.55m. With a 5.09m effort, Gillespie added long jump silver.

Damian Crawford of Lifford-Strabane AC took the M50 shot put gold, throwing to 11.58m and also won a weight for distance silver when reaching out to 7.41m.

Finn Valley AC's Bosco Reid threw a best of 11.72m to take M60 gold in the shot.

Milford AC's Patrick Kerr was the M70 3000m gold medallist, winning in 12:11.22. 

Patrick Galvin of Finn Valley AC won silvers in the M45 long jump (4.76m) and high jump (1.55m) with FinnValley AC woman Kay Byrne going 5.54:49 for silver in the W60 1500m.

Olympian YAC ace Martin O'Donnell brought home two medal. O'Donnell hit silver in the M45 triple (8.49m) and was the bronze medalist in the 60m sprint (7.98 seconds). 

Inishowen AC's Martin Mooney won bronze in the M40 high jump (1.45m) and triple jump (8.81m).

Letterkenny AC's Barry Mackey won bronze in the M60 3000m in 12:09.00 and LAC's Danny Sharkey collected bronze in the M60 3000m walk.

Milford AC's Anthony Doherty was fifth in the M50 3000 while Garbhan Boyce of Finn Valley AC came sixth in the M50 1500m.
