The Millrose Games, incepted in 1908, have long been regarded as world's premier indoor track and field event.
English goes among some of the world’s leading 800m protagonists at the Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory.
The race includes: USA's Olympic bronze medallist Clayton Murphy; Noah Kibet, the World Indoor silver medallist from Kenya; Bryce Hoppel, USA's World Indoor silver medal winner; and Briton Kyle Langford, who won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Rising American middle distance runners Isaiah Harris and Cade Flatt and Mexico's Tonatiú López, the 2017 World University gold medallist, complete the line-up.
English has been running well in 2023, opening up with a 1:47.62 in Sweden. Last weekend, English recorded the second fastest indoor 800m of his career.
The Letterkenny native finished third at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, going 1:46.57.
The four-times European medallist, who won bronze last year in Munich, recently signed up with PACE Sports Management, the company headed up by Milford man and former Finn Valley athlete Ricky Simms.
The 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held from March 2-5 at the Ataköy Arena in Istanbul and English will look to outline his standing again at Millrace.
For nearly 100 years, Millrose took place at the legendary Madison Square Garden before finding anew home at the Armory - 'The Fastest Track in the World'- in 2012.
