Seven athletes from Donegal clubs will compete this weekend at Tollcross Park in Glasgow.

Ciaran McGonagle of Letterkenny AC will be in action in Glasgow.

Seven Donegal athletes will represent Ireland at the British and Irish Masters Cross Country Championships this weekend.

The Championships will be hosted by Scottish Masters and run in Tollcross Park, Glasgow.

The W45 team includes three Donegal athletes with Finn Valley AC duo Teresa Doherty and Catriona Devine joined by Letterkenny AC’s Natasha Adams.

Doherty was second to Noeleen Scanlon at the recent Autumn Open Cross Country in Abbotstown while Adams was fourth.

Doherty, Adams and Devine will link up with Zoe Quinn of Raheny Shamrocks.

Kay Byrne, who helped the Ireland W60 team to team golds in the 8k cross country and 10k road race at the European Masters, will go in the W60 race.

Jon-Jo Doherty of Finn Valley AC goes in the M35 category, Letterkenny AC’s Ciaran McGonagle will be in the M45 grade, Inishowen AC’s Pauric McKinney is in at M55 and Martin Kerr of Milford AC will toe the line at M70.
