A podium spot is guaranteed for Raphoe badminton player Joshua Magee and Clare woman Moya Ryan who are now through to the semi-final of the Latvian International after beating Oscar Reuterhall and Fiona Hallberg from Sweden at the Rimi Olympic Centre.

The pair won a 62 minutes match against number 6 seeds on a 21-15 16-21 21-17 scoreline.

This comes only hours after the Irish beat Gardon and Demots-Chacun in the last eight.
