Raphoe badminton player Joshua Magee and Clare woman Moya Ryan are through to the final of the Latvian International after winning their semi-final on Sunday morning at the Rimi Olympic Centre.

The Irish duo had to fight hard to secure their place in the final beating Simon Krax and Amelie Lehmann of Germany on a 20-22 21-12 21-17 scoreline.

In the quarter-final the pair won a 62-minute match against number 6 seeds Oscar Reuterhall and Fiona Hallberg from Sweden while before that they beat Gardon and Demots-Chacun on Saturday morning.
