Dunfanaghy Boxing Club's Eddie McBride has his hand raised
Two more Donegal boxers were crowned as Ulster 9 County champions on Tuesday night.
The remaining finals for the Boy and Girl 1, 2 and 3 Championships were boxed off at the Cookstown Community Centre.
Dunfanaghy BC’s Eddie McBride and Darragh McGonigle from St Bridget’s in Clonmany join the cast of champions who were winners at the weekend.
In the Boy 3 59kgs final, McBride overcame Silverbridge’s Gene Duffy.
McBride was handed a unanimous decision by the judges after an impressive outing.
The bout 1 41.5kgs final was won by McGonigle, who was also handed a UD against Martin Floyd from Emerald.
In his semi-final on Sunday, McBride overcame Ardoyne’s JP McColgan in his semi-final, while McGonigle stopped Samuel Ngwa from St George’s.
Rowan Doherty of St Bridget’s had no joy in the Boy 2 final at 41.5kgs as he lost out to Jake Cowan from Dukes.
At the weekend, Twin Towns’ Caden Keenan and Hannah Lee Peoples of Raphoe Boxing Club took victories to get their hands on titles.
Raphoe BC’s Peoples stopped Chloe Stitt Barnes in the Girl 1 43kgs final. Peoples stopped her opponent in the third round to claim an impressive win.
Keenan of Twin Towns took the Boy 3 50kgs final as he edged out Micah Patterson from East Down. Keenan was given the nod on a slender 2-1 split decision.

Convoy’s Isabella Iwanek (Girl 1, 53kgs), Tegan McCarron of Carrigart (Girl 1, 75+kgs) and Roisin Hegarty (Girl 2 61kgs) - now with Twin Towns - were given walkover wins.
On Sunday, Michael McMonagle of St Bridget’s lost to Carrickmore’s Thomas McDonagh in the Boy 2 40kgs final and Cassie Lynch from Illies Golden Gloves was outgunned by Oakleaf’s Danni Doherty in the Girl 2 45kgs final.
