The Irish Flat jockeys' championship is reaching an exciting conclusion as Dylan Browne McMonagle extended his lead over six-time champion Colin Keane to three wins, following a successful double on Noli Timere and Enziya.

However, McMonagle is proving to be a tough competitor for Keane to catch, especially with Keane's commitments for Juddmonte across the water. And he's maintaining a blistering pace, with his recent double marking an impressive 12 winners in as many days.

The first win came from Michael O'Callaghan's Noli Timere in the mile handicap, where the 11-5 favorite triumphed decisively by two and a half lengths over Neo Smart. Later, Enziya held on well to clinch the 1m6f handicap for Ray Cody, returning as the 7-2 favorite.

Cody spoke highly of Enziya's performance: "He was caught out in Tramore last time when the pace was quick, and it pushed him out of his comfort zone early. But what impressed me was the way he finished. They went at a more moderate pace today, and he traveled strongly throughout. I felt the 1m6f distance would suit him, and Dylan said he could handle even two miles."

He continued, "I'm fortunate to have him, and the next step will likely be hurdling. I believe he has the potential to be a strong three-year-old hurdler, unless he’s sold. He's a laid-back horse, but he's honest and has the ability."
