After a solid home win last weekend, Raphoe travelled to Antrim for their first away fixture of the league campaign.

Looking to continue their strong early-season form, Raphoe aimed for a bright start and they got exactly that.

Raphoe came out sharp, keeping possession well and moving Antrim from side to side in search of an opening.

Just five minutes in, Jamie Russell found space high on the left wing and slipped a clever pass to Sam McKnight on the baseline. Sam laid it back to Gavin Lecky, who fired home confidently to make it 1-0.

Moments later, Raphoe broke again. Gavin created another shooting chance for himself which was saved, but Jake McKnight reacted quickest, tucking away the rebound to continue his great scoring run.

The second quarter saw Raphoe still on top, creating multiple chances but struggling to convert.

A tidy move from the back found Gavin Lecky in midfield, who threaded a perfect through ball to Sam McKnight. Sam touched it past the onrushing keeper, leaving Reece Kilpatrick with a simple finish for 3-0.

Antrim responded late in the quarter with a well-worked counter-attack to pull one back.

Raphoe controlled the tempo again in the third. A diagonal pass from Evan Lyttle released Robbie Watt down the right, whose pace earned Raphoe a penalty corner. Simon Goudie stepped up and buried a composed drag flick into the bottom corner for 4-1.

Antrim hit back once more with another counter-attack, but Raphoe remained calm.

The final quarter was professionally managed by Raphoe, dominating possession and pinning Antrim deep in their own half to see out a deserved win.
