Mona McSharry opened her long course season with gold at the US Open Championships.
The Olympic bronze medallist won gold in the 50m breaststroke race in Austin, Texas.
Marlins Swimming Club star McSharry took gold in 30.48 seconds.
The Grange native won from Skyler Smith (30.59) and Mackenzie Lung (30.73).
From the heats, McSharry - who decided against competing in the European Short Course Championships - was the fastest qualifier, going through in 30.80.
McSharry will also go in the 100m and 200m breaststroke events in Texas.

At the recent World Aquatics Swimming Championships World Cup, McSharry won five medals across the three weekends and set five Irish records in the same period.
