Grant lands third Irish kickboxing title to cement rising-star status

Buncrana kickboxer Liam Grant claimed his third national title at the ISKA Irish Open in Waterford on Saturday - the third title the teenager has now claimed across three different weight categories.

Fighting out of Strike Martial Arts Academy in Derry, Liam continues to develop under the guidance of his club which has been instrumental in shaping his progress and success. His dedication in training, discipline and work ethic have seen him rise rapidly through the ranks and establish himself as one of the standout young fighters in the country.

Already an International Sport Kickboxing Association (ISKA) European champion and a World Championship bronze medallist, Liam has proven himself on the biggest stages nationally and internationally. His performances have consistently demonstrated high-level skill, composure, and maturity beyond his years, earning him growing recognition within the kickboxing community.

With this latest Irish Open victory in the male 65-70kg weight category for 15-17 year olds, Grant strengthens his reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting young prospects in kickboxing.
