Roisin Flanagan won impressively in Albuquerque
Roisin Flanagan began her 2022 with an impressive win in Albuquerque.
The Finn Valley AC woman won the Women’s 1 Mile Run at the New Mexico Team Open.
At altitude of almost 5,000 feet, Flanagan won in 4:40.59 - a new Finn Valley AC record.
At the Albuquerque Convention Center, making her first outing since the St Stephen’s Day 5k in Stranorlar, Flanagan won well.
Abbe Goldstein of New Mexico was second in 4:43.13 with Stefani Parsons, also of New Mexico, was third in 4:46.98.
Flanagan went to Albuquerque with her twin sister, Eilish, and will race again in Boston on Friday night.
