Kathryn McDevitt concluded the European Masters Athletics Championships on a golden note.
McDevitt and the Ireland W40 4x200m relay team shaved 15 seconds off the Irish record at the Altice Forum.

McDevitt reached the 60m final earlier in the week, setting a new lifetime best of 8.21 seconds to finish sixth while she was a semi-finalist in the 200m.
McDevitt ended a medal-laden Championships for Donegal athletes by helping the relay team top the charts.
Annette Quaid and Sinead O’Regan ran the final two legs as Ireland won in 1:45.43.
Spain were second in 1:45.96 with Great Britain third in 1:48.98.
Meanwhile, Martin O’Donnell of Olympian YAC helped the M45 4x200m relay team to bronze medals. Ireland finished in 1:41.37 with Spain and Great Britain taking the top two spots.
