Jordan Furey won again to help Ireland into the final of the Brave MMA Super Cup in Bahrain.

The Letterkenny mixed martial artist scored another impressive stoppage to help Ireland defeat Mexico 5-3 in their semi-final.

At the Khalifa Sports City, Furey put Israel Salcido Rodriguez to the sword.

Furey recorded a win by a technical knockout, ending the welterweight bout via ground n pound.

Kerry Ann Vernon, Lewis Byrne, Conor McCarthy and Denis Perry all won for Ireland, who are now guaranteed a minimum €68,000 prize money.

A win over the hosts, Bahrain, would net Ireland a cool €91,000.

In Wednesday’s quarter-final, Ireland defeated Oceania Champions 5-4 with Furey stopping Mitchell Kelly in the opening round.
