Three Donegal men will be among Ulster Boxing’s traveling party for the Eindhoven Box Cup this week.

Letterkenny Boxing Club puncher Paddy McShane is one of the boxers on the squad.

His father and coach, Rory McShane, is one of the Ulster coaches for the trip while Carrigart ABC’s James McCarron goes as referee/judge.

Paddy McShane was the 2021 Irish elite flyweight champion.

He has been training with the Ulster high performance team - who are preparing for the Commonwealth Games - in Belfast over the last couple of months.

Rory McShane will be one of the coaches to travel to the Commonwealth Games.

McCarron is no stranger to the big tournaments. The Carrigart man has been all over the world with some of the best Irish boxers, most recently when he officiated in Dubai two years ago.

The fifth edition of the Eindhoven Box Cup runs from Friday, June 3 until Monday, June 6.

The tournament is under the supervision of the Dutch Boxing Association and IBA.
