Mark English and Brendan Boyce have been confirmed on the Irish team for the World Athletics Championships.
The Finn Valley AC duo are among eleven athletes confirmed by Athletics Ireland.
English last weekend won his eighth Irish outdoor 800m crown and has been in good form this season.
Boyce skipped last week’s National Senior Championships as he is on a warm weather training camp in Spain in preparation for Oregon.
English will become the fourth Finn Valley athlete to line up at a World Championships. Boyce competed in 2017 and 2019 while Tori Pena took part in the pole vault in 2011 and 2013 with Jeff Cassin in the race walk in 1999.
English finished ninth at the 2015 version in Beijing.
The World Athletics Championships take place from July 15-24.
