Donegal jockey Oisin Orr landed a 6/1 double on Friday evening.

The Rathmullan man is now the stable jockey for Richard Fahey at his Malton yard.

Orr rode even-money favourite Ravenglass and 11/4 shot The Predictor to wins on Friday at Thirsk.

Ravenglass pulled away from the 6/1 On The River over the final furlong to win by half a length in the Join Our Bet Club At Vickers.Bet Handicap (Div II).

Orr completed the double on The Predictor, edging in past Tendentious (18/1) to win by a neck.

Those wins followed a success on Wednesday evening for Ed Dunlop at Catterick. Orr guided the 100/30 favourite, Turner Girl, to victory in the Fascination By Cherished Handicap.

Orr had two-and-a-half lengths to spare on Valley Of Flowers.
