Dylan Browne-McMonagle claimed a victory for Ireland on Thursday.
Letterkenny jockey Dylan Browne-McMonagle recorded a win for Ireland in the Racing League at Windsor on Thursday evening.
Browne-McMonagle took Jessica Harrington’s 9/4 chance That’s Just Dandy to victory in the mile race.
Browne-McMonagle staved off Majestic, the 15/8 favourite, to win.
The four-year-old That’s Just Dandy was given a fine ride by Browne-McMonagle to score top marks.
“We are delighted with that,” Kate Harrington, the trainer’s daughter, said.
“He is a horse who has been knocking on the door all season and he was a little bit disappointing maybe in the Irish Cambridgeshire. He was just far too keen in the first two furlongs.
“We said we’d do a quick turnaround and come here. He really enjoyed the track and Dylan has given him an absolutely brilliant ride.”
