Finn Valley AC woman Cassie Lagan helped her Augusta University team to success on Saturday.

Lagan finished as the second individual as the Augusta University women’s cross country team took the spoils at the Jaguar Cross Country Invitational.

Augusta University hosted the event at Redcliffe Plantation.

Lagan came home in 20:06.20, strong enough for second overall.

Lagan’s Augusta colleague Riley Triplett won the race in 19:50.82.

Caroline Pierce, Madison Kennedy, Haley Gilbert and Grace Gyetko were also inside the top seven.

Lagan and the Augusta University team now head for the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational on September 16.
