Pupils from schools afar, such as Scoil Naomh Fionán, Whitecastle, Scoil Naomh Bríd, Muff and Scoil Colmcille, Malin were in attendance.
Scoil Náisiúnta Taobhóige, Fintown NS and Scoil Náisiúnta, An Choimin made the short trip from An Gaeltacht Lár with Scoil Mhuire, Glenties arriving with a large amount of participants.
Scoil Naomh Fionán, Whitecastle man Senan Doyle took the gold in the under-11 boys race with Dylan Temple (Dromore NS) and Ethan Sullivan (Woodlands NS) tied for second.
In excess of 800 children drawn from over 30 schools in Donegal and Tyrone took part in the event.
Schools such as St Joseph’s NS, Rathmullan and Drumoghill NS were in action for the first time.
