Finn Valley dominate team honours as Caolan McFadden shines again

Finn Valley won six of the 12 team golds at the Ulster Novice and Uneven Ages Cross Country Championships while Caolan McFadden scorched to victory ahead of Irish Championships on his home turf

Toye pulled clear from Peter Gracey of Beechmount Harriers to finish second behind the impressive winner, Gary Crummy from Newry AC.

Letterkenny AC’s Mark Grennan finished in fourth.

Toye was joined on the scoring Finn Valley AC team by Jon-Jo Doherty, who finished seventh, Shea Carlin in 18th and the back-again Mitchell McLaughlin in 38th. Drumkeen cyclist McLaughlin returned to the Finn Valley AC vest to take the fourth scorer’s post.
