Glenhead and Roartys played out an exciting 5-5 draw on Friday night the home side went 3-0 up after the doubles. Dermot McGuire won the opening singles 3-0 against Barry Carr and the league champions stormed into a 5-3 lead before the Glenhead lads won the two final singles matches Gabriel Boyle winning the final match 3-0 against Norman Fuller to tie the match.

Kilcar House maintained their 100% record with a good 7-3 win in O’Donnell’s in a close match, the away side went 3-0 up after the doubles before Andrew Gillespie beat Kenneth Kennedy in the two pointer singles, there were 180’s for Andrew and Philip Gallagher. Sliabh Liag have withdrawn from the league so new fixtures will be sent to all teams.

Southwest Grand Prix

This is the second year of the competition and this year it will take place in Kilcar House on 12th October, registration 4pm on will start 6pm, all current and previous southwest players welcome. As you all know who were here last year this is a double in double out competition, looking forward to seeing all players from southwest league there. Shield and money in money out.
