There was a captive audience during last weekend's Allingham Festival for the launch of 'Newts of Wonder' a collaboration of words, illustrations and music from Olive Travers, Barry Britton and Eamon Travers.
It was just one of what was one of the best festivals ever and credit all round to everyone involved.
In the foyer, at the Abbey Arts Centre, patrons also got a first hand opportunity to see the illustrations that popular artist Barry Britton had created.
It was a big night for family and friends who also came to support the authors as well as the terrific audience on Thursday night..
MC Richard Hurst kept matters in order as readers Joan Scott, Niamh McGrath, and Barry Britton himself gave excellent performances. Niamh's reciting of William Allingham's 'The Fairies' was a very special moment with special guests Fionnuala
McCusker and Colum Sands also making the night so special.
