Ernie Gibson
Funeral director, Ernie Gibson, will be laid to rest in his native Convoy this afternoon, Sunday.
The late Mr Gibson spent decades serving the people of Convoy, Raphoe and the surrounding areas, taking care of their deceased and their loved ones.
He was one of the few embalmers in the county and for many years his services were called upon from across the county to provide his expertise to other undertakers.
Mr Gibson’s remains will leave Gibson’s Funeral Home, Broadpath, Convoy, today, Sunday, at 1.30pm for 2pm Service in St. Ninian’s Parish Church of Ireland.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family flowers only.
Donations, if desired, to the Donegal Hospice care of any family member.
