BJ Banda has signed for Larne.
Striker BJ Banda has been snapped up by Danske Bank Premiership leaders Larne.
The 24-year-old has checked into Inver Park after a impressive spell at Ballinamallard.
The Letterkenny man has now been lured to Larne by Tiernan Lynch. Banda netted 23 goals for the Mallards in 58 appearances.
“We are very pleased to bring BJ to the club, having kept a close eye on him for a while,” Lynch said.
“He has done well in the Championship, and since he’s trained with us he hasn’t looked out of place.
“It’s obviously a step-up to the Premiership, but he is a player hungry to learn and develop.
“Despite his young age he has good experience under his belt and we’re looking forward to him giving us a different option.”
Banda first rose to prominence in 2015 when scoring a famous last-gasp goal for Finn Harps to secure a play-off victory over Limerick and promotion to the Premier Division.
