Ibrahim Keita has signed for Galway United
Former Finn Harps striker Ibrahim Keita has signed for Galway United.
The French attacker is expected to be in the Galway squad for Friday’s First Division opener against Harps in Ballybofey.
Harps will be face-to-face with some familiar opponents on Friday.
Ollie Horgan, who brought Keita to Harps for the 2017 season, is now the Galway United assistant manager.
Rob Slevin and Regan Donelon, who were at Harps in 2022, are now on the Galway panel.
Keith trialled at Galway in pre-season having played for Czech Republic side Bohemians Praha 1905.
In 2017, Keita scored one goal in 13 appearances for Harps.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Galway and the team,” he said this week.
“I’ve been here for two weeks now, I'm really appreciating my teammates, the coaching staff and the environment I'm in right now.”
