Jack Keaney and Michael Gallagher helped UCD to Collingwood Cup glory on Wednesday.

UCD overcame University of Limerick 3-2 at Inver Park in Larne to secured their 49th success in the competition.

Donegal Town man Keaney teed up Ronan Cowhey for a dramatic late winner. Letterkenny’s Gallagher was also in the UCD line-up.

All the goals came in the second half with UL twice coming from behind to level the tie.

Ciaran Began netted twice with Tom Carney and Adam Foley leveling each time before Keaney assisted Cowhey for the winner.

Keaney had scored one of the goals in a 4-0 semi-final win over UCC.
