The late Kieran McGrath and Liam 'Gutcha' Haughey will be remembered at Finn Park on Friday night.

Finn Harps will remember Kieran McGrath and Liam Haughey at Friday night's First Division match against Bray Wanderers.

Both men were well known in Donegal football circles through their involvement in Letterkenny Rovers and Bonagee United.

The two men, who both died in tragic circumstances on Wednesday, frequented Finn Park over the years.

“Everyone at Finn Harps share the overwhelming sense of shock and grief at the tragic deaths of Kieran McGrath and Liam Haughey,” a statement from Finn Harps read.

“We would like to add to the tributes paid to Kieran and Liam by acknowledging the years of huge service both men gave to their clubs and the wider footballing community.

“They will be sorely missed at Finn Park and grounds around the county.”

Finn Harps conveyed sympathies to their families, clubs and friends and confirmed that a minute's silence will be observed prior to kick-off.

Games in the Ulster Senior League, Donegal League and Donegal Underage League have been called off this weekend as a mark of respect.

All club activities at Letterkenny Rovers and Bonagee United have also been paused.

The funerals of both men will take place in Letterkenny this weekend.
