The tribute to Gary Crossan on the screen at Celtic Park.
Celtic FC remembered supporter Gary Crossan from St Johnston on Saturday.
During the 1-1 draw with Motherwell at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premier League, the late St Johnston man was honored on the big screen.
Gary was a massive fan of the Hoops.
He was honored in a message by the Legends 7 Celtic Supporters Club, which is based out of Mary O’s Bar in Strabane.
Gary was a member of the club, formed in 2009.
On January 7, he passed away at the Donegal Hospice following an illness, leaving behind his loving wife Marie and sons Caolan, Conur and Cormac, as well as a wide circle of family and friends.
His family suffered further heartache when, almost exactly a month later his mother-in-law May Browne lost her battle with cancer at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The bereaved family has organised a clim up Errigal on July 1 to raise money for the Donegal Hospice.
After the climb, refreshments will be served in the Fisherman’s Inn with some top prizes on offer.
Sponsor cards are available through the family while tickets at €5 per line will be sold for the raffle.
