Letterkenny Rovers to host their first-ever Family Fun Day

Leckview Park will host Letterkenny Rovers' Family Fun Day on Bank Holiday Monday

Letterkenny Rovers are delighted to be holding their first-ever Family Fun Day tomorrow.

The event takes place this Bank Holiday Monday, August 7, from 2pm to 5pm, at the club’s ground, Leckview Park. They have said for a while now it's not often enough they get an opportunity to bring everyone together for an enjoyable day out, so here it is. Everyone is welcome, children and families, whether involved with the club or not.

Some of the already confirmed activities include an obstacle course bouncy castle, disco dome, penalty shoot-out bouncy, face-painting, carnival games, spud and spoon race and pass the water.

There will be a Mini Kids Football Fans Tournament, with Man United, Liverpool, Celtic and Barcelona fans. Get your family photo taken and there’s a very interesting ‘pie your coaches.’

The club will also be hosting a barbeque, snacks and drinks will also be available so all they need now is that Bank Holiday sunshine and it has the makings of a great family day out.

As an added bonus the club has secured generous support from lots of local businesses, offering free family days out and back to school vouchers plus much more prizes on the day.

"We really wanted to give families a nice, cost-effective day out where they might also win a prize or two, like win some vouchers towards the back-to-school costs,” Letterkenny Rovers posted. “We feel we have been so well supported by so many businesses that we will hopefully have plenty of families leaving with more than just a great day out."

Entry costs just €3 or €10 per family maximum and it promises to be a fun-filled day with plenty of laughs, smiles and memories to be made.
