Recent games at the Ballybofey ground have seen an earlier start time due to issues with the stadium floodlights
Finn Harps will resume their regular kick-off schedule at 7.45pm as they face Treaty United this Friday night in Finn Park.
Recent games at the Ballybofey ground have seen an earlier start time of 6pm due to issues with the stadium floodlights.
Following discussions with the FAI, matches against UCD and Cork City over the last two weeks were rescheduled to the earlier slot, and unfortunately for the club, impacting attendance. However, the club is striving to revert to the later kick-off times.
The club has been having issues with its lighting system this season with up to 17 of the 48 lights on the eight pylons around the ground out on occasion since the beginning of last month.
Harps say that the issue highlights the need for their new stadium to progress with the criteria for the FAI's licensing a big challenge for the club.
Finn Harps officially announced that the game against the Limerick club on Friday will kick off at 7.45pm.
