Ronan Curtis has signed a three-year deal with League Two side Port Vale.

The 28-year-old St Johnston man has moved to Vale Park having scored five goals in 17 games for AFC Wimbledon during the latter part of the 2023/24 season.

The winger previously hit 57 goals in 226 appearances over five seasons at Portsmouth, but has been snapped up by Vale boss Darren Moore.

“Me and Darren have been speaking for a while and I'm excited to get it done,” Curtis said.

“I like the way he plays. I want to come here and do the best I can and hopefully help the club to get promoted.”

The Republic of Ireland international joins a side relegated from League One and Moore is delighted to bag the signature of the former Derry City attacker.

Moore said: “He’s a player with a proven calibre above League Two level and we are really pleased that he has chosen to commit to the club long-term amidst strong interest in both League One and League Two.

“He is a player with wonderful technical ability and experience. His versatility adds an exciting dynamic to the squad.”
