Erin McLaughlin in action for Peamount

Erin McLaughlin was on target for reigning SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division champions Peamount United in a 2-2 draw with Bohemians at Dalymount Park on Saturday.

The Culdaff woman gave Peamount the perfect start inside the first minute when Rachael Kelly's attempted clearance fell nicely to the Republic of Ireland striker who knocked home from close range. However, Bohs responded brilliantly to turn things around.

Sarah McKevitt drew them level in the fifth minute after her cross evaded everyone to find the net. Four minutes before the break, Alannah McEvoy put her side ahead.

The hosts almost held on but Karen Duggan headed home an 88th-minute leveller as the points were shared.

Shelbourne remain two points clear at the top of the table after a crucial 1-0 win over Galway United at Tolka Park.
