The Temple Domestic Appliances Division One has Donegal Town FC and Castlefin Celtic as its frontrunners and four teams are two from two in the Donegal Physiotherapy and Performance Centre Division Two.

Rathmullan Celtic 0-6 Fanad United
Fanad United laid down a mark with a six-goal blitz of their neighbours Rathmullan Celtic at Flagpole Park, with six different scorers.
A dangerous free kick was whipped across the face of Rathmullan’s goal and, although the home side had bodies in the box, they couldn’t clear the danger. Darren Mc Elwaine was on hand to capitalise, bundling the ball home for the opener.
It was no surprise when the second goal came from another dead ball situation, this time Paddy Moffitt rose highest to meet a well-placed corner and guided his header into the back of the net.
Oisin Mc Menamin, who had switched allegiances from Rathmullan to Fanad over the summer, found himself in the right place at the right time to slot home his side’s third goal early in the second half. The champions ability to exploit set pieces once again proved decisive when Eddie O’ Reilly made a clever run to the near post and finished with composure for Fanad’s fourth goal. As the game wore on, Fanad could play with more freedom, and they added further gloss to the scoreline with goals from Darragh O' Doherty and Eoin Logue.
Gweedore Celtic 1-2 Kilmacrennan Celtic
Ten man Kilmacrennan pulled off a dramatic win six minutes into injury time at the end of the match. Dillon had given the away team the lead in the tenth minute but they failed to add to their lead and when they were reduced to ten men before half time the home team started to create chances.
Gweedore equalised in the second half through Tommy Diver and Darragh Mc Gee should have put them ahead but his chip over the keeper went just wide. With time almost up Kilmacrennan grabbed the points when Doherty planted a penalty in the back of the net for a dramatic victory.
Swilly Rovers 0-1 Bonagee United
Bonagee United took the points against Swilly Rovers in a contest that was switched to Dry Arch Park.
The home side took the lead on twenty minutes when Garrett Harkin won the ball in midfield he headed toward the goal and his strike from forty yards flew into the bottom corner of the net.
Dean Larkin was denied on forty-two minutes by the keeper from a shot from fifteen yards. Gallagher again made another save from the head of Conor Stewart from six yards from a Dean Larkin cross on forty-eight minutes. Jamie Harris and James Henry saw their shots on target well saved by the Swilly keeper on fifty-three and fifty-five minutes. The home side were awarded a penalty on seventy-two minutes but Jamie Harris hit the crossbar and the ball was cleared by a defender.
Letterkenny Rovers 5-2 Keadue Rovers
St Catherine’s 0-2 Kildrum Tigers
Kildrum Tigers’ good start to the season continued with a win at St Catherine’s Emerald Park.
Kildrum didn’t have many opportunities in the first half with a through ball being intercepted by the Saints’ keeper Daniel Malarkey and another chance just before half time being saved. Kildrum started the second half the better team and got a goal just four minutes into the second half when a mistake at the back from Saints led to a goal from Keelan Gillen. Kildrum doubled their lead in the 57th minute after a kick out bounced around the middle and broke to Kildrum striker Jonathan Robb who played a ball through to Callum Gillen who slotted past the Saints’ keeper. Saints who didn’t have many chances came close when a long ball from Odhran Mc Guinness met Josh Cunningham’s head and hit the post in the 75th minute. Neither team had any good chances in the last 15 minutes with Saints getting plenty of balls into the box but nothing coming off any of them.
Temple Domestic Appliances Division One
Gweedore United 1-4 Donegal Town
Donegal Town visited Carrickboyle and claimed the three points against an under-strength Gweedore side.
The visitors broke the deadlock when Eoin Slevin scored a penalty after a foul in the box. In the 59th minute, an excellent shot from Ronan Mc Hugh came off the cross-bar and was unluckily deflected in for an own-goal for Donegal. United pulled on back in the 62nd when Ethan Harkin converted a penalty to make it 2-1. The visitors got two more goals in the 66th minute when Ben Sweeney tapped home from close range and again in the 89th minute to make it 4-1 in the end.
Castlefin Celtic 2-1 Cappry Rovers
Castlefin secured a victory over neighbours Cappry in a tight affair.
Dean Kelly opened the scoring when he pounced on the edge of the box, and slotted into the bottom corner. In the second half, the next goal was crucial and the hosts got it. Jude Patton picked up a loose ball and lobbed the Cappry keeper. Cappry pushed hard and finally got a goal back when Benny Mc Laughlin slotted home.
Cranford United 1-3 Ballybofey United
Lifford Celtic 2-4 Glenea United
Donegal Physiotherapy and Performance Centre Division Two
Convoy Arsenal 3-1 Drumoghill F.C.
Convoy made it two wins from two in the league when they defeated the men from the Moss at Orchard Park.
There was little between the teams in the early stages until the visitors struck on the half hour when Keelan Bogle netted from close range. Convoy upped their game and levelled ten minutes later when Jamie O’ Donnell finished well from a great pass from James Wilson. Fifteen minutes into the second half Aidan Boal gave Convoy the lead when he found the roof of the net with his left. After this both keepers pulled-off some great saves and Convoy's defence held firm. The points were secured by the home side ten minutes from time when Ryan Mc Groarty converted a fine through ball from Anthony Bogle.
Drumkeen United 2-1 Raphoe Town
Drumkeen United came out with the three points in the Parish Derby Day as Raphoe Town were the visitors to a damp St Patrick's Park.
The home team took the lead after about 25 minutes and it was a good goal when it came. Dabhan Doherty put in a good cross from the right wing which was headed away but it fell to Niall Sweeney who struck it well and it flew into the net. A Raphoe free-kick was saved by Drumkeen keeper Cormac Mulraine but it fell to Oran Kelly who fired home.
Drumkeen got back in front after 77 minutes. Their second goal when it came was also a good goal as a great pass from Niall Howley found Conor Bonner who dinked the ball over an advancing Sean Friel.
Dunkineely Celtic 0-4 Deele Harps
Letterbarrow Celtic 4-2 Curragh Athletic
Whitestrand United 0-2 Kerrykeel ’71 F.C.
The first home match of the season was a local derby between Whitestrand and Kerrykeel. The first goal came from a cross which the keeper could only parry into the path of Bernard Mc Gettigan. Whitestrand were pushing for an equaliser and were closed down in the middle of the park and Mark Friel made it 2-0. Whitestrand made changes in the second half and were in control of possession for large swathes of the second half but couldn’t find a breakthrough.
