Jack Keaney netted home his first league goal for Cliftonville on Friday
Donegal Town native Jack Keaney celebrated a milestone by netting his inaugural goal for Cliftonville, contributing to a 2-0 triumph over Glentoran at Solitude.
The match remained goalless until the 65th minute when Rory Hale's powerful shot was parried by goalkeeper Daniel Gyollai, allowing Ryan Curran to capitalise on the rebound and secure his fifth league goal of the season.
Shortly thereafter, Cliftonville extended their advantage. A well-placed corner from Alex Parsons found Keaney, who outjumped his defender to head home, marking his first goal since joining the club.

This victory propels Cliftonville to fifth place in the league standings, equalling Portadown on points, while Glentoran missed an opportunity to narrow the gap on leaders Linfield.
Keaney, a 26-year-old defender, joined Cliftonville in January 2025 after a stint with Drogheda United, where he was part of the squad that clinched the FAI Cup against Derry City.
