Convoy Arsenal on the verge of promotion back to Division One

Convoy Arsenal are looking for promotion this weekend

Convoy Arsenal stand on the brink of promotion as they prepare to face Letterbarrow Celtic this Sunday in a pivotal Donegal Junior League Division Two fixture.

A positive result at Tymeen could see them ascend to Division One, marking a significant milestone for the club.

Currently leading the table with 39 points from 15 matches, Convoy Arsenal have showcased remarkable form this season, remaining unbeaten with 12 wins and three draws. Their defensive solidity and attacking prowess have been key factors in their successful campaign.

Their opponents, Letterbarrow Celtic, sit fifth in the standings with 27 points. While they have had a respectable season, Convoy Arsenal's consistent performances make them favourites going into this encounter.

The last meeting between the two sides saw Convoy Arsenal secure a 4-0 victory, demonstrating their dominance. However, with promotion on the line, Letterbarrow Celtic will undoubtedly aim to challenge their ambitions.

The visitors sit top of the table, one point ahead of Kerrykeel 71 but with a game in hand.

A win for Convoy Arsenal this weekend would cement their promotion, rewarding the team's hard work and dedication throughout the season, considering it’s been a struggle for the club who were sitting in the topflight in the Premier Division before suffering relegation in 2021/22, and suffering relegation to Division 2 last season.

The match kicks off at 1:00 pm on Sunday at Tymeen.
