Amber Barrett was on the scoresheet again at the weekend
Amber Barrett continued her fine recent form with a goal for Standard Liege at the weekend.
The Milford woman scored her 16th goal of the season, her seventh in her last seven outings, in a 3-0 win over Oud-Heverlee Leuven.
Barrett marked her 50th appearance for the Republic of Ireland with a late goal against Greece in a 4-0 win in Crete before opening the scoring to set up a 2-1 win against the same opposition from the penalty spot in Tallaght last week in the Nations League.
Barrett returned to Belgium and her goal keeps Standard third in the Belgian Women’s Super League.
Standard are seven points behind the leaders, Anderlecht.
