Seamus Coleman of Everton with members of his schoolboy club St Catherine's last year in Sligo
Seamus Coleman will remain at Everton next season, head coach David Moyes said.
The Killybegs native is the current longest-serving player at a single club in the Premier League, having joined Everton from Sligo Rovers in January 2009.
There had been doubt over whether the 36-year-old would be given another contract for Everton, who play their last ever game at Goodison Park on Sunday against Southampton before their move to a new 52,888-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Vauxhall.

“Seamus will stay next season, without doubt,” Moyes said of his skipper. “One way or the other, Seamus will be here certainly next season. He will be part of the group. I need him here. It would be wrong of me to let him go. With his leadership he's a vital part of the dressingroom.
The right-back, who is club captain, has made 427 appearances for Everton since joining from Sligo Rovers for £60,000 in 2009.
