Patrick Ferry has swiftly found a new club as he has joined Treaty United.
The Gaoth Dobhair native joins the Limerick side, who currently sit in fourth place in the League of Ireland First Division, seven points clear of Finn Harps in seventh.
Finn Harps manager Kevin McHugh confirmed last week that Ferry had left the club, playing 16 times this season and scoring once.
Ferry scored 11 goals in 67 appearances for his local Donegal club, joining from Ballinamallard United in the summer of 2023.
Ferry also spent time at Derry City, graduating from their youth academy.
Treaty United manager Tommy Barrett said on the signing: “Patrick is still only 22 and he’s got a bit of experience under his belt.

“We think he can do a good job for us up front as he’s a hardworking player, is technically good and has good physical strength too. We think he can hit the ground running and we look forward to seeing him in action.”
Ferry added: “I’m delighted to be here at Treaty United. I’m excited for this new challenge and can’t wait to get going now.”
The 22-year-old will look to make his debut on Friday in the Markets Field as Treaty host Cobh Ramblers, while his return to Finn Park could take place on the 29th of August when the Limerick side make the journey north for the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season.
Meanwhile, William Oduwa has become the latest Finn Harps player to depart the club.
The big defender played five times for the club, but has become the latest departure after Ferry, Dara McGuinness and Anto Dodd.
