Galway United have announced that former Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan has stepped away from his position as assistant manager.
Horgan, a native of Salthill, managed the Ballybofey club from 2013 until 2022, whilst teaching at St Eunan's College in Letterkenny. A former Fanad United manager, he joined Galway as No2 to John Caulfield in 2023.
"We regret to announce that Ollie Horgan has stepped away from his position as Assistant Manager of the Men’s First Team for the foreseeable future," Galway United said.

"Ollie joined the club ahead of the 2023 season and brought with him his trademark energy, experience, and unwavering commitment. His contribution was instrumental in our First Division title success and our return to the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division.
