Finn Harps have announced that the first chance for fans to see the senior team in action at Finn Park in 2026 will be against Sligo Rovers.
Kevin McHugh’s side will host their fellow North West men at home on Tuesday, January 13, with kick-off at 7.30pm.
Sligo Rovers had a strong end to the 2025 Premier Division season to climb out of the relegation play-off spot and finished seventh in the table.
It could also mark a return to football in Donegal for Carl McHugh, with the Lettermacaward native signing for the Bit O’Red.
McHugh last played in the league in 2011 on loan at Dundalk, but has since played in England, Scotland and India, before moving home earlier this year.
The Harps will use the game as a good warmup for their First Division campaign, which begins away to Athlone Town on February 13.
